35th Anniversary Special Event

On April 19th, 2010, we celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the Tri-State Coalition for Responsible Investment. At this event, "The Opportunities of Crisis: Imagining Economic Systems Inclusive of the Planet and Her People", we were honored to have Dr. Mary Evelyn Tucker present the keynote address. A panel of distinguished guests responded to Dr. Tucker's presentation, as well as addressed questions from the audience. Responders were Fr. Seamus Finn, OMI, Director of Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation office for the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate; Peter Kinder, Senior Strategic Advisor for RiskMetrics Group; and Ian Olson, Director of Sustainability for Darden Restaurants. Sr. Barbara Aires, SC, Director of Corporate Responsibility for the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth, acted as moderator for this special event.

Bill Ford Jr. Speaks at Tri-State CRI's 30th Anniversary Event

Patricia A. Daly, Bill Ford, and Sr. Mary Turley of the Flax Trust, Belfast Bill Ford Jr., CEO and Chair of the Board of Ford Motor Company spoke at Tri-CRI’s 30 th Anniversary Event in New York City on November 10 th, 2005. Tri-State CRI members, ICCR members and associates, colleagues from corporations and socially responsible investment professionals gathered for an inspiring evening.

Ford spoke with great candor regarding the challenges of blending the priorities of sustainability and financial success.
